GOATT’s Founding Story

GOATT Founders: Travis and Bryan

Six years ago, two businessmen and friends, Bryan and Travis, were paired up at their home club in Wisconsin, igniting a friendship that would eventually lead to the establishment of GOATT Golf Club.  Dissatisfied with previous encounters with companies promising access to elite golf courses and exclusive events, they recognized a gap in the private club community, prompting them to conceive the idea of GOATT Golf Club. After a year of development, the concept materialized, with “GOATT” representing “Greatest of All Tee Times,” symbolizing the significance of one’s home club.

Their journey revealed the abundance of exceptional private clubs with remarkable members that were often overlooked by conventional golf companies, leading to the creation of a sophisticated app by GOATT to directly connect these individuals, facilitating access to renowned private courses and creating a community of like-minded golf enthusiasts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Eligible to be a Member of GGC?

First, you must be a member of a private or semi-private golf course. Second, and more importantly, we look to add upstanding, respectful, and gracious members who want to host and network with like-minded individuals and discover and play great courses all over the US.

How Does the GOATT App Work?

Once your membership is approved, you have access to all courses within our network through our one-of-a-kind GOATT app. You can look up courses via an interactive map and reach out directly to that courses member to request a tee time. All communications are done directly between members.

What Private Courses are Inside the GOATT App?

With over 4,200 private golf courses, GOATT’s mission is to connect members across the USA to give them access to courses they have never had the opportunity to play on before. Our goal is to bridge quality and quantity, to give members access to as many courses as possible.  

Is There a Minimum Number of Rounds I Must Host?

We ask that all our members are open to hosting visiting members and make themselves available for at least one tee time per month. We encourage our members to host more, but that is entirely up to you and your availability.

Is There a Limit on How Many Rounds I Can Play?

There is no limit to how many courses you can play. We encourage all our members to use our network to meet as many members and play as many rounds of golf as they can. However, we do ask that you reciprocate this to other members when they request.

Can I Bring Guests with me to Other Host Courses?

Most of our members will host up to an entire foursome, often this is you and two other guests. These guests do not need to be a member of the GOATT network thus allowing a way to introduce family, friends, and business associates to courses they typically can’t play.
